League footballs

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Bundesliga, the sports goods manufacturer from Germany was inspired by the look of classic footballs balls from the beginning of the Bundesliga when creating the design and reinterpreted it for the new official match ball.

While in the past the 12 pentagons were monotonously black, DERBYSTAR has upgraded them with dynamic design elements and eye-catching colors to create an innovative look for the new official match ball.

SELECT is the official ball supplier to the Swedish leagues Allsvenskan and Superettan. Over the years, the partnership has evolved, and now several football clubs in Allsvenskan also play in SELECT wear.

Allsvenskan is the highest league in Sweden, founded in 1924, meaning that Allsvenskan celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. There are 16 teams in the league, and the season runs from spring to fall. Superettan is the second-highest league, played since 2000, and the top two teams from Superettan moves up in Allsvenskan.

Every year, the champions of Allsvenskan lift the Lennart Johansson trophy, named after the late Lennart Johansson, who was, among other roles, the president of UEFA from 1990-2007.

SELECT is the official ball supplier for Eliteserien, OBOS-ligaen, and Toppserien in Norway. Eliteserien and Toppserien are the top football leagues in Norway for men and women, respectively, with 16 teams in Eliteserien and 10 teams in Toppserien. Through our partnership, we have also become the official clothing supplier for two teams in Eliteserien, using both our player jerseys, training wear, and leisurewear. SELECT is also the official match ball supplier for the Norwegian cup tournament for men and women, where the annual finals take place in December.
