Norsk Topphåndball and SELECT agree on common match ball in the best Norwegian league of both ladies and gentlemen, Postenligaen.
The agreement is for the next four years and is effective upon the start of the season in 2012 and includes up to 5,000 balls for the clubs.
"This agreement shows that Topphåndball is taking responsibility and working together to develop the product and experience and improve the framework at the matches. Among other things, the official match ball will be identical with the balls sold in the country's sports shops, "says Hein Barthold from Norsk Topphåndball.
Steinar Felde from SELECT Sport Norway also looks forward to working together: "A common match ball is introduced in a few countries in Europe, but this is the first time in Scandinavia. Now the players get the opportunity to train and play with the ball that was best in the test. SELECT also brings experience from both the World Championships and Olympics. "
